WEEK 56: July 8, 2019 (13 months) “AMERICA!!!! Still love ya.”
The day of 4th of July! |
This week was INSANE!! But we saw a ton of miracles!!!
First of all; Happy 4th of July!!!! It was a little weird celebrating 4th of July in the COLD!!!! but you can bet that we celebrated it hugely and loudly!! We showed up in our district meeting DECKED out in Red White and Blue. I used my red dress with a blue scarf and a white hat. And ALL the Americans in our district were on the same page. Each American Elder was in a Red White and Blue tie that I am pretty sure they just bought for this day.
Our 4th of July PARTY! |
This week we had a HUGE miracle. So on Tuesday we were teaching a lesson and we got a phone call like 4 times. So finally I picked up and it was a member from a different ward and he was super excited. He said, "Sister! My mom decided to come back to church and my sister isn’t baptized! You need to go there tomorrow!!" So we went there the next day and it was all true!!! So we marked for that sister (Maria Eduarda) to be baptized this week and the inactive mom even started paying tithing again this week!!! It was crazy and such a huge miracle!!! So we were super excited!!!
ALSO JULIANA!! Juliana was a woman who was fighting a ton with her husband. We thought they were going to end up separating but this week we got the announcement that THEY ARE GOING TO GET MARRIED!!! They don’t have a date yet but we cried and were so excited. I am so excited for her. She was super happy also that she will actually be able to be baptized in the next few months.
This week I wanna challenge you all read, "The Family: A Proclamation to the World!" I have learned how much I appreciate my family and what is so important about keeping what the prophet says about family and family relationships. It is very powerful.
Eu amo vocês!!!
