WEEK 50: May 27, 2019 "Vou"

OIII!!!!

This week was great!!!

This week we taught VILAR!! He is a darling old man. He always says, "vou" in a very deep voice which means "i will" in Portuguese. It's like,
"Vilar will you go to church"
"vou"
"We will pass by here at 3:30 to pick you up in a car. Will you be ready"
"vou"
"We also want you to pray to ask if you should follow the example of Christ and be baptized. Will you"
"vou"

HE IS HILARIOUS!!! And he really did go to church on Sunday. And it was so funny. In the middle of the meeting he had to go to the bathroom and so he asked my comp where the bathroom was. But she didn’t hear him so he shouted across the room to an older woman (another investigator) to ask where the bathroom was. And she shouted back that she also didn’t know so another old man investigator shouted "Its down the hall second door on the left!" LIKE IN THE MIDDLE OF SACRAMENT MEETING!! It was so funny.

We also taught a lesson to Daisy and Paulo this week! Guys. This couple. Is really prepared by the Lord. ALL THEIR BELIEFS ARE OUR BELIEFS! Daisy believes that in heaven we are all going to progress until we become like God. and Paulo believes that Christ lived His life as an example to us. Guys it was amazing. We felt the spirit super strongly. AND THEY SAID THEY FOR SURE WANT TO BE BAPTIZED

This week we also had an activity of the missionaries! If there is something I do well on the mission. It is activities. We had a "day in the life of a missionary" where we gave everyone companions and said that they had to do simple tasks that we do everyday. It was so fun. everyone was laughing and it was a HUGE success.

Anyways. That’s my week!!

This week I wanna challenge y’all to sing your favorite hymn just out loud when you are alone. I have gained a huge testimony that hymns really bring the spirit into our lives and we learn vital truths through the musics.

WE WENT ON A TOUR OF A THEATER AND IT WAS VERY COOL!!!

When you don't know how to cook but gotta make your own lunch... 

Sister Braga who is amazing!!!! Only has a year and a half of membership in the church and RAN AWAY from her parents to serve a mission and only called to tell them she was in São Paulo on Christmas. I love her and her faith is a huge example to me.
