WEEK 65: September 10, 2019 (15 months!) “TCHAU CAPÃO!!!” (Goodbye ,Capão)

me and Sister Mahoney with MARIA EDUARDA!!!
OIIIIII ALÔ!!!!!!

Sorry that I am one day late we had... TRANSFERS!!!! And I was transferred. I am going to what they call the "cemetery of the mission" because it is in the middle of nowhere and everyone goes there to just finish the mission. BUT I AM STOKED!!! It is called, "Bagé!" (about 30 miles North of the Uruguay boarder) Ever since I got on the mission I felt like I had someone waiting for me in Bagé. But now that I am starting my last 2 transfers, I thought that I would for sure not go there. So I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

This week was a little insane. I had to tell every family in Capão do Leão that I would be leaving and bah. I have never seen so many tears. It was really sad. All the families that are going to be married and baptized this next transfer. I am so sad to leave but I know that they are in good hands with a Sister Mahoney.

We also had a huge service project preparing a house for a new family of Venezuelans that are going to move here!! It was way fun. We put on a music and starting spraying water everywhere and cleaning and taking off paint from walls and everything!! It was a blast and a half.
We cleaned a house for the Venezuelans to live in!!!!
Anyways. I don’t really have any other news for now... but I want to challenge you all to pray for a missionary experience this week. I want to hear from EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU (rebecca.hammond@missionary.org) that you all had a chance to share this amazing gospel with someone this week. I know that if you pray for that chance, even in Utah, you will be able to have a chance to bear testimony of Christ and His church.

COM MUITO AMOR!!!

Mom Questions:
Where are you now?
I am going to BAGE!!!!

Who is your new companion?  Tell me about her…
I don’t know yet. I am going to train a new missionary!!  I have also been asked to be a Sister Training Leader!  I am a little nervous, but excited.

What happened during the last week in your last area?
Just a lot of running around and trying to mark wedding dates and mark baptismal dates to start the new sisters off with a good start.

What was the hardest part of saying “goodbye”?
Bah. The families. There are 3 families that are going to be married and baptized this month that just cried and cried when I left and I cried because I worked so hard with them and I don’t get to see the final moments.

What was the highlight of your last area?
Those same families.

Who are the people that you are going to keep in touch with?
The families, my recent converts, members other less actives that I reactivated. There’s a ton haha....
