WEEK 62: August 19, 2019 "Brasil Brasil Brasil Meu amor"

OLA!!!!

This week was so great. We are really finding the ELECTS of the LORD!!! Guys. That's is not even like an exaggeration. The only sad thing is that Pres Souza said that I am going to be transferred, probably in a few weeks so I wont see ALL the progress. But that is OK. I am helping people every single day!!

So we found the family of CATIA!!! So this is a family of 5 people. Catia, Jonaton, Maria Eduarda, Derek and Hudson. They are adorable. AND SO ELECT!!! They had already known about the church; but something changed and this time they really wanted to accept it!!! We had two really spiritual lessons with them and they ALL went to the ward activity on Wednesday. AND THEY ALL WENT TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY!!! I loved looking down and seeing their family. Last minute, the bishop asked us to teach the youth Sunday school and Maria Eduarda said that she LOVED our lesson. I will confess, it wasn't really that great because we switched ideas a ton but that's fine. But the family loved church. And when we gave them a Book of Mormon, Jonaton (the dad) was so excited and said it was the best present! Then he said that he will for sure be here next week!!! So that was a huge miracle.

A family that is all members except that young man on the couch. That's Lucas. Now you can put a name to a face. We are teaching him right now.

We also started to teach the stepdad of a recent convert. The mom (Francielle) and the stepdad (Claudiner) aren't married legally so that is impeding Francielle to have callings or progress in the gospel. And that makes Cauê (the recent convert) really sad. So we decided to see if Claudiner had interest in the gospel and... SURPRISE!! He has interest!! He went to church this Sunday and LOVED IT TOO!!! And he agreed to marry Francielle!!! So we are going to the Wedding place this week!! WHOO  HOOO!!!!

We also had a miracle with Rosanne. I don't know if I already said something about Rosanne but she was from the church 7th day Adventist. I don't know about outside of Brasil, but here inside of Brasil; it is really hard to convert a 7th day Adventist. But she said that one day she was walking on the street and starting to think that maybe her church isn't the true church. And right when she was thinking that; we walked up to her to invite her to visit our church. She took that as a sign that maybe our church really is the true church and she even went to church on SUNDAY!! She said that our visits take away all her stress and anxiety because we are so calm (guys. Someone said that I am calm. Maybe the mission really does work miracles.) And so we are excited about that!!

This week I wanna challenge you guys to read Moroni 7. I know that this is a really well known chapter but this week it came to mean something special to me because we are teaching all our less actives about Christ-like attributes. I want you guys to read so you can really know how is Christ and how you can become more like him.
