WEEK 47: May 6, 2019

Me without my umbrella because the more rain you let fall on your head the more handsome will be your husband.
OII!!!

I'll be honest. This email will be short and probably not great because I forgot to write beforehand.

This week our biggest miracle was with Gladis. We arrived in the ward Sunday morning and she was sitting there!!! We were super surprised because she is our investigator from our group in Capão do Leão! She said that she wanted to see how it was in the real ward. So she just showed up there! It was a huge miracle. And she loved the program "Come Follow Me!" She is amazing!!! She loved the group so much that this week she even introduced us to her mom, who we are going to help stop smoking. And he grandma who heard about us and wanted to hear! That was a miracle.

There was also a missionary who got home from her mission in the ward last week who has been a big help. She is introducing us to friends, wanting to teach with us, and is even picking up our investigators to go to church. She is amazing and such a Doll. I love her to death.
Larissa (the returned missiony) made a Torta de Bolaxa for me! (my favorite Brazilian dessert!)

I am sorry that I don't have more to say. OHHH BIG NEWS!!! TODAY I SAW THE FIRST THEATER IN RIO GRANDE DO SUL!!!!!!!!! It was all old and AMAZINGLY COOL!!!! I loved it. My comp said I was crazy because I started ranting about lighting and fly systems and stuff to her about the theater. It was amazingly cool. unfortunately. I forgot the battery to my camera. But next week I will send pics!!!

This week I wanna challenge you guys to read the talk from Elder Holland from the last conference. I think that sometimes we forget the importance of the sacrament and the sacrament meeting. Even if we think we are being super reverent, there is also something we can do to be better. To bring the spirit more in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Eu amo voces muito!! Muito obrigada pelo amor e apoio.
(I love you so much!! Thank you so much for your love and support.)

Com amor,
Sister Hammond
We found a creek with bamboo and thought it was  cool

I painted a fridge this week because president pointed to me and said, "Sister Hammond. It is your job to paint this fridge. Tomorrow. I want a painted fridge." "Ok pres...." AND I PAINTED THE FREAKING FRIDGE!!!

Us with Sister Oliveira. Another Sister in our district.
