WEEK 14: September 19, 2018 "Mom questions"
(Note from editor: Becca didn't write a group email this week yet, so I am just going to share a bit of what I got from her.)
What are you learning from each of your companions?
How are Helio and Laci (The couple who committed to getting married and baptized last week)? Did you have a wedding yet? When does their son return from his mission to Mexico? Do they have any other kids?
Are you making sure to keep contact info for all the ward members you get especially close to and love as well as investigators and companions?
How far do you walk each day? Are you getting used to it?
Are there mountains in Porto Alegre?
What are you learning from each of your companions?
- I am learning how to love from Sister Gerlach and how to have focus from Sister Carvalho. Also clothes. She loves clothes.
How are Helio and Laci (The couple who committed to getting married and baptized last week)? Did you have a wedding yet? When does their son return from his mission to Mexico? Do they have any other kids?
- They are struggling. Laci doesn't want to really commit again so it's frustrating. Their son is already home... bah I don't know anything... and he is their only!
Are you making sure to keep contact info for all the ward members you get especially close to and love as well as investigators and companions?
- YES! I found out this week that I will be transferred in 3 weeks so I am telling EVERYONE my Facebook!!! I am so sad to leave!!! They don't usually tell us so far in advance. Nobody else knows if they will be transferred. But President told me during my interview yesterday. Everyone else will find out the Sunday before the transfer. I don't know why he told me, but I am worried because President said he doesn't know who will be my comp but it will either be someone who will help me a lot or I will have to help a lot and he's been praying about that. I will miss Tati and her family the most. They are amazing and have so much love for me and are SO MUCH FUN!! (They are a recent convert family. Tati is really funny and she changes the color of her hair every week!)
How far do you walk each day? Are you getting used to it?
- A LOT! I don't know in miles but dang it's a lot. I am more or less used to it and I am surviving! I am better shape than my comps so far so it hasn't been too hard.
Are there mountains in Porto Alegre?
- Hills. There are hills. I miss the mountains so dang much!!
